Donal joined the firm in 1976 and has been a partner since 1981. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Qualified Financial Advisor. He is also a Personal Insolvency Practitioner authorised by the Insolvency Service of Ireland.

Donal was one of the first Personal Insolvency Practitioners (PIP) to be authorised by the Insolvency Service. He has been interviewed by both local and national media on the Personal Insolvency legislation. Donal has been helping clients, both businesses and individuals, deal with the fallout from the economic downturn, in particular the significant debt problems which have arisen. The new legislation can provide solutions to people in serious debt. Donal has the experience, skills and the qualifications necessary to help clients avail of the opportunities provided by the legislation.

Apart from the traditional areas of Audit, Accounting and Tax Donal has a particular interest and a strong expertise in dealing with Revenue Audits. He has many years experience in addressing and dealing with the difficulties posed during Revenue Audits.

Donal has a keen interest in professional and community affairs and has been President of the Tullamore Chamber of Commerce, President of Tullamore Lions Club, and Captain of Esker Hills Golf Club.

He has served on the committee at Midland branch of the Irish Tax Institute, and has been a regional coordinator for the Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been the Business and Employers representative on the Offaly County Development Strategy Team.
